Additional recipe notes
Serving suggestions: I love to serve any of my pasta recipes with a nice green salad or steamed veggies, and Air Fryer Garlic Bread on the side. Making ahead of time: You can prep your chicken ranch pasta ahead of time for the same day or the next day and store it in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap. It’s a great make-ahead dish for busy weeknights and is also the perfect meal to send to a family member or friend in need. High protein substitution: Swap in high-protein pasta like Banza chickpea pasta, Barilla Protein+, or my personal favorite: Brami pasta. They all work well here and add a nice protein boost. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each one until heated to your liking.
Storage & reheating safety
For cooked, perishable leftovers, refrigerate within 2 hours (1 hour above 90°F), using shallow containers for prompt cooling. Keep the refrigerator at 40°F or below, use refrigerated leftovers within 3–4 days, and reheat hot leftovers to 165°F, checked with a food thermometer. Follow any shorter package limit.
These are general safety limits, not a tested storage or freezing recommendation for this particular dish. USDA leftovers guidance · Safe cooking temperatures
