Additional recipe notes
Fridge: Store leftover sliced turkey in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Freezer: Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and foil. Freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating. Reheat wrapped in foil in the oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 20 minutes to keep the turkey moist. Reheat individual slices covered, in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds. Reheat in the air fryer for 3 to 4 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Moisten leftovers with saved pan drippings.
Storage & reheating safety
For cooked, perishable leftovers, refrigerate within 2 hours (1 hour above 90°F), using shallow containers for prompt cooling. Keep the refrigerator at 40°F or below, use refrigerated leftovers within 3–4 days, and reheat hot leftovers to 165°F, checked with a food thermometer. Follow any shorter package limit.
