Additional recipe notes
Tip: If you’d like to pipe your Dole Whip into your cup (like a soft serve), place the frozen drink in a large zip top bag. Freeze the bag for 5 minutes. Then cut off 1/2″ of the tip and pipe into a cup. You can also use a large star frosting tip. Variations: There are many ways to mix this Dole Whip up. You could use coconut milk or a vegan yogurt or dairy free ice cream for a version that is dairy free. You can also add in raspberries if you’d prefer. Add 1-2 Tablespoons of sugar if you’d like it even sweeter. Storage: Store leftovers in a covered container in the freezer until ready to serve. Allow to soften at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Storage & reheating safety
For cooked, perishable leftovers, refrigerate within 2 hours (1 hour above 90°F), using shallow containers for prompt cooling. Keep the refrigerator at 40°F or below, use refrigerated leftovers within 3–4 days, and reheat hot leftovers to 165°F, checked with a food thermometer. Follow any shorter package limit.
