Additional recipe notes

Pro Tips: Use high quality butter and Parmesan cheese. My brands of choice are Land O' Lakes butter and BelGioioso Parmesan cheese. Be sure to grate the cheese from a block instead of using a bag of shredded cheese. The flavor and consistency is much better. Egg noodles, fettuccine, or pappardelle work well for this recipe, (I used pappardelle, link in 'tools' section below ). Add 1-2 bouillon cubes to the boiling pasta water to add even more flavor to the noodles.

Storage & reheating safety

For cooked, perishable leftovers, refrigerate within 2 hours (1 hour above 90°F), using shallow containers for prompt cooling. Keep the refrigerator at 40°F or below, use refrigerated leftovers within 3–4 days, and reheat hot leftovers to 165°F, checked with a food thermometer. Follow any shorter package limit.

These are general safety limits, not a tested storage or freezing recommendation for this particular dish. USDA leftovers guidance · Safe cooking temperatures
